GRDI was selected by Obsidian Energy as the EP engineering firm to head up the engineering and procurement efforts on their high profile project in Peace River Area. The scope of the project included constructing 150 km of interconnecting gas gathering transmission lines, strategically installing three thousand (3000hp) horsepower of field compression, install new control software system that will enhance operations while maximizing the customer bottom line. The project also allowed GRDi to showcase the company core commitment to the environment by modifying all of Obsidian’s production pads to address and eliminate any potential venting of produced gas into the surrounding environment.
Full EPCM including civil/structural for buildings complete with skid drawings, plan and elevation views and details. Mechanical and HVAC, electrical and instrumentation layouts, cable schedules, facility single lines and MCC elevations. Procurement department engaged for turnkey packages.
Multiple compressor stations throughout northeastern Colorado. Scope typically included MCC and PDC design, Instrumentation specification and design/programming of Rockwell PLC systems for station, vapor recovery, and compressor package control.
Engineer Design and Install New 5KV E-House and Transformer Yard to service new VFD driven inlet (1500HP) and exhaust motors (3000HP). GRDi provided full EPCM services including civil, and architectural drawings complete with Plan and elevation views, and Bill of Materials.
